All vehicles are delivered only after a comprehensive all-points inspection and full service is done, or what we like to call C&C - check and change. A complete detailing of the interior and exterior follows prior to delivery of your vehicle to you, our valued customer.

Details of our process for preparation of every vehicle for delivery are as follows:

Complete flush and replacement of all engine fluids - This includes changing the engine's oil and oil filter, changing the transmission fluid, coolant, brake fluid, and power steering fluid. This may sound costly, but we at Japan Direct see it as mandatory, after all, it is a pre-owned vehicle isn't it? So why take chances with your investment? Your vehicle's timing is then checked and the intake system (fuel injectors) is cleaned for optimum performance and reliability.

Inspection of plugs, belts, hoses, axle boots and filters is a must, where necessary they are replaced. That's what we call C&C-check and change, for your benefit and peace of mind.

Complete engine and under body detail - We ensure that the engine area is thoroughly cleaned and inspected and in as perfect order as possible. The under carriage is given our attention also, properly cleaned and lubricated where needed.

A complete vehicle detail on the interior and body follows - This includes shampooing of the seats, floor, ceiling and trunk areas. A thorough detailing of the vehicle's body follows, buffing and polishing with particular attention being paid to minor scrapes and scratches, which exists on all used vehicles.

We then check your car's tyre pressure. Though overlooked by many and not thought to be important, this is a must in our pre-delivery inspection (PDI).

After your vehicle is registered, your choice of number plates is up to you, whatever look you decide upon, be it plexi-glass, metal or otherwise. What you want is what you get.

Glass tinting and adjustment of the vehicle's radio to receive all local frequencies is also done after registration, along with any other customizing options you may desire. For customizing options for your vehicle, please click here.

Finally, we ask that you return with your vehicle to our designated Service Department after the first 1,000km. This is for a routine check and to ensure that all is well with your new vehicle.
